In The Old Testament    

Many prophecies were mentioned about Virgin Mary, among which are

The Bush (Exodus 3)    

The Ark (Exodus 37)

The Jar of manna ( Exodus 16 )

Aaron's staff   (Numbers 17)

The Altar of Incense (Exodus 30)

The Gold Lamp stand " Manarrah " ( NUMBERS 8 )

The Stairway that Jacob saw (Gen. 28)

The closed Gate (Exodus)

And so did Isaiah the prophet when he said (Is. 7):

"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The Virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." (Is. 7:14)

And also, Virgin Mary was told about in : Prophet Jeremiah   ( Jer. 31   )

And also in the Old Testament

“The Virgin will be with Child and will give birth to a son , and they will call him Immanuel." - Which means, “God with us ".   (Matt. 1:23).

“But when the time had fully come, God sent his son, born of a woman, born under law."       (   Galatians 4:4).

“This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His Mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph , but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. "   (Matt. 1:18)

“On coming to the house, they saw the child with mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, and of incense, and of myrrh."   (Matt. 2:11)

“While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, His mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him." (Matt. 12:46)

“Isn’t this the carpenter's son? Isn't His mother's name Mary, and aren't His brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?" (Matt. 13:55).

" Then Simon blessed them and said to Mary, His mother: " This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against.”           (Luke 2:34).

“When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, "Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.""             (Luke 2:48)

“Then He went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart." (Luke 2:51)

”Now Jesus' mother and brothers came to see him, but they were not able to get near him because of the crowd." (Luke 8:19).

”HIS mother said to the servants,” Do whatever He tells you. "   (John 2: 5).

”Near the cross of Jesus stood His mother, his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene." (John 19:25).

”When Jesus saw His mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to His mother, "Dear woman, here is your son,” (John 19:26).

”When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream." Get up," he said, “take the Child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him." (Matt. 2:13).

”So he got up , took the child and His mother during the night and left for Egypt." (Matt. 2:14).

" and said, " Get up, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who were trying to take the child's life are dead." (Matt. 2:20)

“So he got up, took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel.” (Matt. 2:21

”Then Jesus' mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him."   (Mark 3:31).

“The Child's mother and father marveled at what was said about Him."                     (Luke 2:33).

”After the Feast was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it." (Luke 2:43).

”After this He went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days." (John 2:12).

“They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can He now say ," I came down from Heaven ?". (John 6:42).

“I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. “May it be to me as you have said?" Then the angel left her." (Luke 1:38).

”At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea."   (Luke 1:39).

”When Elizabeth heard Mary's greetings, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit." (Luke 1:41).

" And Mary said: " My soul glorifies the Lord."   (Luke 1:46).


“Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months and then returned home."         (Luke 1:56)



”He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child."   (Luke 2:5).

”So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the Baby, who was lying in the manger." (Luke 2: 16).

”But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart"            

(Luke 2:19).

”Then Simeone blessed them and said to Mary, His mother: "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of manyin Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against." (Luke 2:34).

”They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers." (Acts 1:14).

“Greet Mary, who worked very hard for you.”   (Romans 6:16).
