Give happiness to your servant because I give my soul to you my Lord,

Give me gladness by your salvation when I escape from my enemy's hands,

And let me overtake them,

Let me rejoice by your praise when my lantern is light with the oil of joy,

Let me rejoice by your will as you reveal it to me in my thoughts at all times,

Let me rejoice by your word that gives me life and your food that fills me and quenches my thirst,

Let me rejoice by your light and your peace that can calm the winds and guide me to the harbor,

Let me rejoice by the healing of all sickness and all weakness in me,and all the bonds of sin,

Let me rejoice by your help and rescue me from every hardship,

and your consolation at all times,

Let me rejoice by the hope and the faith that allows me to enter inside the Veil,

Let me rejoice in the hard work, the tribulations and in my spiritual triumphs,

By reviling yourself to me,

Oh the lover of mankind
